Lucky Admiral Review
Please note: This online casino cannot be recommended by us at the moment. Please choose an alternative from the best online casinos.
Being established back in 2005, Lucky Admiral isn’t one of the newer casinos around. It has had plenty of time to build up its brand and reputation. This pirate themed online casino is partnered with Jumpman Limited and has its headquarters based in Alderney. It has a very impressive number of games from an impressive number of providers. If you look beyond the bold branding and the bright visuals, you’ll see that it is just as much substance as style.

If you’re looking for buried treasure, then we’re going to see if you should dig up this site and see what’s inside the chest. Aside from the good looks, we’ll be checking out all the other areas of the site in this Lucky Admiral review. From the customer support to the game providers, from the banking and security to the overall user experience, we’ll see if it’s a sparkling gem or a rusty coin.
Overview of Our Experiences
We were quite excited on opening the site as it promises quite the adventure. We think that this is for a player that is looking for a journey rather than just an experience. The bright blue screen was filled with colourful graphics and we were very impressed with the adventure that it offered…. It definitely made us want to delve deeper into our Lucky Admiral review.
In terms of game offering, there were over 600 on offer, which is pretty decent compared to some of the others. We also liked the games that were available. There weren’t just slots, we could play roulette, blackjack and other table games. However, we were disappointed with the lack of live casino.

When looking at other areas of the site, we thought it was pretty good. The site was pretty easy to use, although the games could have been sorted into more categories to make it easier. However, the layout was easy and eye catching.
The banking was good, if a little limited. There were a sufficient number of methods to use, although not as many as others; however, if you stick with the main methods, you’ll be just fine. It was a little slower than some others – especially with cards and eWallet banking methods. However, you could bank equally as well on the mobile as the desktop.
The customer support was decent too. There were various ways to contact the site and the agents were helpful and quick. Overall, we had a positive experience on the site. It looked good and had great games. It was also safe and secure.
Lucky Admiral Check: Scam or Not?
So, Pirates may not have the most honest reputation, but what about the site? The casino has been around since 2005, so has managed to build a decent reputation to last so long. As well as this, it is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Commission. As such, it has to adhere to the strictest regulations and rules, so is safe for customers under its jurisdictions.
Under these two commissions, the site is safe to play in many countries in Europe and internationally. However, there are several restricted countries including, but not restricted to: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, South Africa, Spain, the USA and more. Check with the site to establish that you are fully protected where you live.
On top of this, there are many top providers. The site is linked with top gaming names including NetEnt, Microgaming and more. Further to this, it is a trusted PayPal Casino, which is very important when looking at the sites trustworthiness.
The PayPal brand is only linked with the most trustworthy of casinos, so you know your payments and funds are totally protected. Overall, when looking at all areas of the site, we can see there isn’t a Lucky Admiral scam going on here.
Summary of the Offers from Lucky Admiral Casino
The site has been around for over a decade and has grown immensely since its first inception. It went from just over one hundred games in the early days, to over 600 games now. It also had games from the most respected providers around. From slots to tables and jackpots, the choice was great, although we did miss a live casino.
Online Casino
When we checked out the variety of games on offer, it was better than many, but not as good as others. It offers games from NetEnt, 1×2 Gaming, ELK Studios, iSoftBet, Jumpman Gaming, Microgaming, NextGen and Red Tiger Gaming.
There are about 604 games, with the majority being slots. It has a choice of the hottest games like Rainbow Riches, Fortunium, Fluffy Favourites and more. There are also branded games like Guns ‘N Roses. As well as this there are over 40 different jackpot games including Mega Moolah, Ozwin’s Jackpots, Caravan to Cairo and more.
If you want to step away from slots, try the table games. When on the site, you can choose from a handful of table games including European Roulette and blackjack casino games. Unfortunately, there are not as many as other sites, so this is better for slot lovers.
We also like a good live casino, as it adds an extra dimension. However, unfortunately, this site has no live dealer games, which was a little disappointing. On the plus side, there were five different bingo games to choose from, which cost from 1p per ticket to 50p a ticket and you could win up to £1,000. Overall, we were impressed with the decent slot selection, but were a little disappointed with the lack of table games. We also missed the live dealer games.
Lucky Admiral Bonus: Check Out the Offer
Looking at the Lucky Admiral bonus on joining, it’s very different to the top casino bonus and welcome offers on the market, as what you get is simply a matter of luck. When you register and join the site, deposit €10 or more and spin the wheel. You can then win up to a maximum of 500 spins. There are other prizes that are available as well, including Amazon vouchers.
Simply make your deposit, spin and see. Obviously, there are terms attached to any winnings. All the spins given away are credited as 10 sets of 50. If you win the full 500 spins, you’ll get 50 straight away and you need to email customer support to claim. Also be aware that for every 10 free spins, you can get a maximum bonus win of £8.

There are other points that you need to not about the offer. The Mega Reel is where you win all of your promotional prizes through site deposits. Also, be aware that winning a prize is not guaranteed. Free Spins on the reel are also only valid on certain slot games, so check which ones.
Also, the winnings from the free spins are subject to a very hefty 65-times wagering requirement. There are many more terms attached, so make sure you read carefully before taking up the offer.
As a new player, you are also entitled to 31 days of double cashback. On top of this, there are various seasonal promotions you can claim. Currently there are several including: Newbies Cashback Boost; Daily Cashback; a VIP Scheme; Turbo Reel; Pizza Club; Happy Hours, Trophy Challenges and the 200 Club. Check the site to see what the current offers are and look at the T&CS attached.
Deposit and Payout at the Casino
Compared to many other online betting sites, the variation of banking methods was a little disappointing. Overall, there are just four options to use, since Visa and MasterCard can no longer be used at UK casinos. However, you can use Maestro, paysafecard, Pay by Mobile and this is also a PayPal casino. We were pleased to note that on deposits, there were no charges attached, which was good. Also, all the deposits were instant. The minimum deposit stipulated is £10 although it doesn’t state a maximum on the site. Despite the lack of methods, the speed and security made up for it.
Deposit options | Maestro, paysafecard, Pay by Mobile, PayPal |
---|---|
Minimum deposit | £10 |
Fees | None |
Accepted currency | GBP |
Payout options | Maestro, Pay by Mobile, PayPal |
When looking at the withdrawals, you firstly need to verify your account by sending in a copy of your ID. Once this is done, your withdrawal can then be processed. However, be aware that if you withdraw under £30, there will be a fee of £2.50, which was rather disappointing.
In our Lucky Admiral Casino review, we notices that when it comes to withdrawal times, PayPal requests are generally very quick, received in under a day. The site states that ‘There is a 72 hour pending period. Once that time period is over you should see your funds land in your account within 1-3 working days’. However, we have seen that some have taken substantially longer.
Security and Regulation
When looking at the regulations of the site, it has been licensed by two separate governing bodies. Firstly, the site is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and also by the Gambling Supervision Commission in the Isle of Man. This ensures that the site has been fully tested and fulfils all of the necessary requirements.
As well as this, to ensure your on-site data security, the site is protected with GoDaddy verified and secure state of the art SSL encryption. Therefore, all your personal and financial details are secure from third parties.
When looking at the games on the site, Lucky Admiral Casino ensures that all the games are completely fair. It employs the third party auditor eCOGRA, which tests the games Random Number Generators and RTPs to ensure the games are totally random and fair. There are also regular audits completed by iTech Labs, which is a highly trusted agency. You can check out the latest certificate by clicking on the RNG Certified seal at the bottom of the website.
Furthermore, the site is also aware of its duty regarding Responsible Gambling. Lucky Admiral Casino is linked to third party bodies including GamStop and Be Gamble Aware. It also allows you to set deposit limits, self-exclude and take a break as well as offering reality checks. We can therefore see that the casino is very safe, secure and is well-regulated by reputable third party agencies.
Customer Support
The options to contact the customer service is pretty limited. To contact the agents, you can either email the support team or message them on live chat. However, be aware that you can only use live chat if you are registered. If you have a query and either aren’t registered or haven’t logged in, then you can only contact via email.
When contacting via live chat, you can expect an answer in minutes; however, if you contact them on email, then you should get a response within 24-hours. Whether you contact the agents via chat or email, the quality of service is good. The agents are helpful and professional and should be able to sort your queries out in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a 24-hr service either. The Lucky Admiral Casino Customer Service is open from 9.30am til 6pm and is closed at the weekend. We found this to be very disappointing as we would at least like to see out of office hours available, which is when the majority play.
Overall, despite the quality of the agents, it was disappointing. The methods and hours were too limited for us.
Should you be caught with a query out of hours, then you could try out the FAQ section. In the ‘Contact Us’ area, click on the FAQs and look for help. It offers various answer to queries about depositing; account management; bonuses; withdrawals; and support. It is pretty comprehensive, which is just as well considering the lack of proper customer service options.
Usability of the Online Casino
In general, the site was very usable. It really looks attractive, but also it was very easy to use. The banners were bold and bright, allowing you to take advantage of all the offers on the site.
The log-in and register was at the top and the registration we found to be very quick. Just below the log-in, you could access the home page, trophies, all games and promotions. Below the banners there are thumbnails of all the featured slots.
To check out all the products, simply press ‘all games’ and then you can choose between ‘Hot Slots’, ‘My Faves’, ‘Newest’, ‘Jackpots’ and Bingo. You can also sort the games A-Z. On top of this, you could also use the search function. What we were a little disappointed with was that you couldn’t separate the table games. If you wanted to find a roulette or blackjack table, you needed to look in the search – which was rather inconvenient if you want to browse through all the table games at once.
Another issue was had was the Contact Us, which could only be found at the bottom of the site. Usually we like the help to be easy to find and always on the screen, so that was a bit disappointing.
Alongside the contact, you could also access other areas of the site such as: About Us, T&Cs, Privacy Policy, Responsible Gambling, Blog, Sitemap, Promotion, Free Spins, No Deposit Mobile Casino and more. Overall, it was good, but not the best we’ve seen.
Lucky Admiral App: Many Different Slots
When we looked up the Lucky Admiral app in the App store, we were disappointed to find there wasn’t one. Neither was there one in the play store. So, if you want to play Lucky Admiral on your mobile, you need to play it on a device that is fully equipped to render HTML5 technology.
If you have that, you can experience the site on the go. However, the mobile site offers virtually the same experience. The site is laid out identically to the desktop site, so if you’re familiar with the casino, the mobile version is simple.
In terms of games, there are about 590 on offer, so almost as many as on the desktop site. These include the jackpot games, bingo and keno games. It was a smooth experience and we had no trouble using the mobile at all. We found the banking and customer service to also offer the same experience s in the desktop site. As mobile casinos are becoming more popular, it seems a shame that there isn’t a Lucky Admiral app, but the mobile site is a fair reflection of the desktop.
Conclusion: Perfect Online Casino with its Own Software
To conclude, in our Lucky Admiral review, we fount it to be an okay site. We did like the look of the site, and we were impressed with the number of promotions on offer. However, the promotions did come with steep requirements, which was an issue.
There were a decent number of games, but a lack of quality table games, and no live casino. The depositing was good, but withdrawing was a little slow, with low withdrawal limits and fees attached to withdrawals under £30.
Also, the customer service agents were good, but the variety of methods and time available wasn’t great. However, it was safe, secure, regulated and was no scam. When it comes to online casinos, this is not the best, but it isn’t the worst, and we’d give it 3.0 out of 5.0. Another gaming operator in the same group is Mr Spin.
Enjoy gambling responsibly. Set limits on time and money spent, and never gamble more than you can afford to lose. Remember, gambling is for entertainment, not a way to solve financial problems.
