As a casino that was established relatively recently, in 2017, Rocket Slots is still making its name in the market and is building up a good reputation. This casino, as the name suggests, is set in outer space and purports to offer players an out of this world experience.

Despite being on of the new slot sites, it has experienced owners – and it shows. It is owned by the Jumpman Gaming Limited Company, who run a number of online casinos, all with various levels of success. Based in Alderney, they are a well-recognised and fully licensed company.

We wanted to know if this site was shooting for the stars or if it was more of a whimper than a bang. We’ll be looking beyond the claims and exploring the depths of the online casino in this Rocket Slots review.

We’ll be looking at the games on offer and the games providers. We’ll check out the customer service and banking. Then, we’ll make sure it’s properly regulated, safe and secure, so you get a great customer experience.

Overview of Our Experiences

When we initially opened the site to begin our Rocket Slots review, we thought it was quite an interesting concept. However, the pictures we felt were a little simplistic and basic considering the newness of the site. The dark blue background had lots of bright and space age graphics. However, it did make us want to look a little further to see what was on offer.

When we checked the game catalogue on offer, we were pleased to see that there were in excess of 600. Compared to others, this is quite good. There was also a nice variety of games to choose from; these include not just slot games, but also table games such as roulette and blackjack. Unfortunately, we missed the live casino, which wasn’t on offer.

Aside from the games, we looked at other areas. We found the rest of the site be okay, although we did have issues with certain areas. Rocket Slots was reasonably user friendly and quick, although the sorting of the games into different categories could have been improved. The banking was satisfactory, although there were limitations. The depositing on the site was better than the withdrawals, which we had some issues with.

Also, the customer support wasn’t quite where we wanted it to be, in terms of the variety of methods and the overall availability. Having said that, the agents were quick and helpful. All in all, the site was okay. There were good areas and areas that needed improvement. However, there were great games, lots of providers and it was fully regulated and compliant.

Rocket Slots Check: Scam or Not?

It may be new, but what about its reputation? The casino was established in 2017, so it hasn’t had as much time to build its reputation. However, its owner, Jumpman, does have the age and experience. It has been around long enough to know how to run a site that isn’t a scam.

Also, it is licensed and regulated by the top governing bodies Alderney Gambling Commission and the UK Gambling Commission. It therefore sticks to the most rigid and strict regulations and is safe for the countries in which it’s licensed.

These governing bodies mean that it is regulated to play in many different countries around the globe. Having said that, there are certain restricted countries, including: Bulgaria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Croatia, Italy, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, South Africa, The US and more. This list isn’t exhaustive, so do check the site before playing to be sure that you are covered.

As well as this, the site is linked to many of the top gaming providers. Rocket Slots casino has games from companies including NetEnt, Microgaming and many more. To add to this, the site is a PayPal casino, which means that you can be sure your funds are secure – and you are playing on a trusted site. When looking at all these different aspects, we can see that it is trustworthy and is not a Rocket Slots Casino scam.

Overview of the Offers from Rocket Slots

This site has been around for just a couple of years, but benefits from many games as a result of its experienced owners. The site has already started with just over 600 titles and it will grow in the future. It offers options from well-known and lesser known providers. There are mostly slots on offer alongside some table games. We were disappointed that there was no live casino. However, there was bingo and scratchcards.

Online Casino

When it came to slot variety, we found the site to be better than many, although not as big as some of the others around. The games provided were from companies such as: NetEnt, ELK Studios, Jumpman, NextGen, Red Tiger Gaming, 1×2 Gaming, Microgaming and iSoftBet. In all, there are 604 games, most of these are slots.

You can play on the hottest slots like Shogun of Time, Joker Jewels, Pixie Wings and more. You can also play on top music games like Guns ‘N Roses. There are also the best jackpot games like Mega Moolah, Fluffy Mega Jackpot and Piggy Payout.

Moving away from the slots, you can try the handful of table games. There is a small selection, including blackjack as well as European Roulette. However, if you look for other games like baccarat or Casino Hold’em, you won’t find them here. We then went on to search for a live casino or any live dealer games. Unfortunately, there were none available, which was a shame.

However, we were pleased to see that there were also five bingo games to play on, including Lucky Stars and Fair and Square, where you can purchase tickets from as little as 1p, and win as much as £1,000. All in all, we thought that the variety of titles for slot lovers was very good. However, we were disappointed at the small number of table games and the total lack of live casino.

Rocket Slots Bonus: Check Out the Offer

The Rocket Slots bonus when you join is very unique compared to many other online casino bonuses that are available. The welcome bonus is not guaranteed – what you get is just a matter of spinning your luck on the Mega Reel. When you sign up, simply deposit a minimum of £10, spin the Mega Reel and see what you get. You can win a variety of different prizes, from Amazon vouchers to 500 free spins.

So, just jump on the reel and see if luck is on your side. No matter what your prize, there are terms and conditions attached that you need to know. The free spins winnings will be distributed as up to 10 sets of 50. If you are lucky enough to bag the full 500, 50 will be credited to your account automatically; for the rest, you will need to email customer support. Also, with every 10 spins you get, you can only get a maximum bonus win of £8.

Deposit bonus: Up to 500 Free Spins
Bonus condition: 65x wagering requirement
Validity: 7 days
Other promotions: Newbies Cashback Boost

Obviously, there are other terms and conditions you need to check out before playing. The Mega Reel is where you can get all of your promotional prizes through deposits. Apart from the welcome bonus, for other promotions there is a minimum deposit of £20 to spin the reel.

You also need to know that wins are not guaranteed – you might win nothing. Also, the free spins you win on the reel are for certain games only, so be sure to check them out. Furthermore, there is a sizeable 65-times wagering requirement attached to the free spins bonus winnings. There are many more terms to understand, so check out the small print before claiming.

Also, as a new player on the site, you can also claim 31 days of double cashback. There are also various lifetime bonuses and promotions that are available to claim on the site. There are promos such as a VIP Scheme, the Trophy Challenges, Turbo Reel, Happy Hours, the 200 Club, Daily Cashback and the Newbie Cashback Boost. There are many that change from week to week, so check out the site for all the current promotions available.

Deposit and Payout at the Casino

One area of the site that was a little disappointing was the banking – with the methods a little lacking in variety. On the plus side, this is a PayPal casino. However, apart from that you can use Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Paysafecard and Pay by Mobile.

When depositing, all of the transactions are immediate, and none have any fees attached, which is good. There is a minimum deposit of £10 on the site, but no maximum deposit is stipulated. Despite the lack of variety, the speed was good and the security was unquestionable.

Deposit options: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, Paysafecard, Pay by Mobile, PayPal
Minimum deposit : £10
Fees: None
Accepted currency: GBP
Payout options: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, Paysafecard, Pay by Mobile, PayPal

We then looked at the withdrawals and were a little more disappointed with withdrawing than with the depositing. Firstly, you need to verify your account. To do this, you must send in a copy of your ID. After this, the withdrawal request will be processed.

In general, there is a minimum withdrawal of £10, which is standard. Should you need to withdraw any less than that, you need to contact customer service. Also, another issue is that any withdrawal under £30 comes with a £2.50 fee attached, which was a shame.

Maximum withdrawal limits are set at £5,000 per week. We found this to be a little lower than we generally like. In terms of speed, PayPal and eWallets are the quickest. These normally take under 1 day. The casino does say that there is a 72 hour pending period, and you should then get your money within 1-3 days. However, there were issues that sometimes it took longer than stated.

Security and Regulation

When it comes to security and regulation, the Rocket Slots casino is licensed by two different companies – the UK Gambling Commission as well as the Alderney Gambling Commission. These are very strict bodies and licenses from both of these companies mean that the site has been tested, and has been deemed to be fully compliant with all requirements. Furthermore, the site has also employed top GoDaddy verification as well as the securest state-of-the-art SSL encryption. As such, all details you enter into Rocket Slots will be fully protected.

When it comes to the fairness of the games, Rocket Slots ensures that all available on the site have been, and are regularly checked by third party auditor, eCOGRA. This site tests all the RTPs, to make sure the site is being transparent and honest. It also tests the RNG to make sure that the games are completely random and true. To check the latest and most up-to-date certificate, check the RNG seal on the site.

Finally, the site also takes it duty to Responsible Gambling seriously. It allows you to look after yourself by offering various protections. You can take set breaks, set deposit limits, take reality checks, and self-exclude. As well as this, the Rocket Slots is linked to outside Responsible Gambling sites such as GamStop and Be Gamble Aware.

Customer Support

Another area on the Rocket Slots casino site we found a little disappointing was the Customer Support, which is rather limited. If you need to contact the site, you can either use the live chat or send them an email. Having said that, if you need the live chat, you need to be registered and logged in. If you want to find anything out before registration, you need to send them an email, which can be a little more time consuming.

The live chat, when it’s open, will see you answered within minutes. However, if you choose to contact them via email, they claim that you will be answered within 24 hours. Looking at the positives, the agents are great.

They are fully trained and professional and very helpful. However, on the negative side, the opening hours were much too limited for our liking. The agents are only available between 9.30 to 6.00pm on weekdays; it is closed over the weekend. We would much prefer to see more inclusive hours that cater for when people are most likely to play. To conclude, although the agents were good, we were not impressed with the variety of contact methods or the opening hours.

However, on the positive side, there was a pretty good FAQ centre. If you do need an answer to a more general query, then you should check it out. Here you can find answers to questions on depositing and withdrawals, account management, bonuses, support and more. It is laid out well and is easy to understand, which starts to make up for the lack of customer service options.

Usability of the Online Casino

When looking at the overall usability of the site, we thought it was pretty good. It looked bright and attractive but was also easy to use. There were plenty of banners leading us to all the promotions and offers. It was easy to log-in and register as well, found at the top of the page. The registration process was quick and simple. Underneath this, you could access All Games, Promotions, Trophies and the Home Page. Then beneath all the banners you can check out the sites hottest games.

If you want to look at all the games, then press the ‘All Games’ tab. The games are then split up as follows: Hot Slots, My Faves, Newest, Jackpots, and Bingo. You also can use the search function or sort the titles from A-Z.

It was surprising that there was no grouping for Table Games, but perhaps this was because there weren’t enough to justify a separate area. If you do want to look at roulette or blackjack games, you need to use the search function, which took a little longer and made it difficult if you wanted to browse and compare the games.

We also prefer it if the help is immediately visible on the site. We like it at the top or the side. However, here we could only see it at the bottom of the page, which we thought wasn’t as user friendly as we like. It was found beside other options such as T&Cs, Privacy Policy, about Us, Responsible Gambling, Sitemap, Promotions etc. We found it good, but not great.

Rocket Slots App: Many Different Slots

We were quite eager to see the Rocket Slots app, as we like new online mobile casino apps. However, there was none to check out at this time. You can’t access it on either the iPhone or Android. Therefore, the only way to access the online mobile casino is via browser.

Any device you have needs to be fully equipped to render HTML5 technology. Got that? You can enjoy the site. The mobile site is very much the same experience as the desktop site. The layout is very much the same as the desktop site, which makes it easy.

The number of games on offer on the mobile is just short of the desktop version, with just under 600 available. All of the genres are available – jackpot, bingo, keno and slots. The customer service and banking was also the same on the mobile as desktop.

All in all, we were pretty impressed with the mobile site in terms of its comparison to desktop. However, it was a shame that there was no Rocket Slots app to enjoy.

Conclusion: Interesting Online Casino with its Own Software

To conclude, we found our Rocket Slots review experience to be okay. It looked like a decent online casino, and we liked the theme of the site and the promotions were interesting and plentiful. Having said that, the offers had tough T&Cs, which put us off a bit. The number of slots was good, but we were disappointed with the table games and lack of live casino.

Banking was fair – although withdrawals weren’t great with a fee and lower limits. However, the site was well regulated, has lots of certificates and is a true and trustworthy site. We felt it deserved a 3,0 out of 5,0.
